Tatiana Calderón to Participate in Formula E Rookie Test in Jeddah with Lola Yamaha ABT Team

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – February 6, 2025 – Colombian racing driver Tatiana Calderón is set to take part in the official Formula E rookie test in Jeddah with the Lola Yamaha ABT Team, marking another important step in her electric racing journey.

Calderón, who has extensive experience across multiple top-tier motorsport categories, has already driven a Formula E car on multiple occasions, including her most recent outing in November 2024 at the Jarama racetrack in Madrid with the Maserati MSG Racing Formula E Team. That test provided her with valuable insight into the latest generation of Formula E technology, further strengthening her expertise in the all-electric championship.

Tatiana Calderón: “I’m very excited to join the Lola Yamaha ABT Team for the Rookie free practice in Jeddah, which I feel is a great opportunity provided by Formula E for drivers who are new to the series. I’ve been impressed with the progress this new team has made so far and that is a testament of the quality of the people behind it. There’s a great atmosphere with everyone pushing in the same direction, something I’ve felt when I’ve been preparing in the simulator. I‘m very grateful to the whole team for this opportunity and can’t wait to hit the track in Jeddah to help them gain some valuable data in preparation for the first double-header of the season.”

Tatiana’s racing career spans multiple disciplines, including Formula 2, Super Formula, the FIA World Endurance Championship, and IMSA, making her one of the most versatile drivers in international motorsport. Her participation in the Jeddah rookie test represents another key milestone as she continues exploring opportunities in Formula E.

The official Formula E rookie test in Jeddah will take place on Thursday before the city’s Formula E E-Prix, providing drivers without racing experience in the series the chance to showcase their skills in the world’s premier electric racing championship.
